National Register of Historic Places

Being listed on the National Register of Historic Places is significant because it recognizes a property's importance to American history, culture, architecture, archeology, and engineering. It also encourages the preservation of these properties as important parts of the nation's shared heritage. We are proud to say the Norwalk Theatre is on the National Register of Historic Places. Being placed on the NRHP also opens up the possibilities of utilizing Federal and State Tax Credits.
