NACTA
The Norwal Arts Center Teen Association (NACTA) is comprised of teens ages 13-19 from all area schools. This club serves as a
bridge between our Junior theatre program and the adult NACtor opportunities. Membership is open to all students that have aged out of the Junior program or have participated in a NAC Teen production, either back stage on stage or in the pit orchestra.
Students in this organization must be in good standing and complete 10 hours of community service as a NAC representative.
The members have the opportunity to share their artistic talents with in the community at events like the Jaycees Christmas spectacular, Lighting of the Marquee, Light up Norwalk and Strawberry Fest.
The NACTA group meets quarterly for socialization that may include special art projects, master classes or supporting other members as audience members. Additionally, members serve as mentors to the Junior productions and assist with various NAC projects and programs. NACTA also maintains an active board of directors, these positions are elected on by the NACTA
members. The NACTA board helps make decisions with events, teen programming and fundraising for productions. This group offers different opportunities for the teens to make an impact in the community with their various talents in the arts.
